Shamans are useful. There are two spells in the game that can be used by a tank for massive damage reduction. One is spirit aura and a shaman only brew. The other is the Aludra priest spell. If you can't provide one or the other to your tank, you are letting him down.

plz don't listen to this permanoob. not sure why u give advice like ur an authority - if u want to instruct players on how to whine about the staff then maybe.

mr barbarians are fine even in pve and border on op in pk. ur not supposed to be tanking with them, but sitting in the second rank with a massive and negating. having an mr barbarian around makes a lot fights trivial - the dream dragon comes to mind immediately.

Well they still manage to get hurt and they need healed. Those dragons reach.

then they should be carrying around mistletoe to heal themselves. the tank should be rescuing if someone in the second rank gets hit. that would be like complaining that the warlock, sorcerer, shaman, rogue or whatever else in the back/middle of the formation is hard to heal - they r not tanks. neither r mr barbarians.

I don't know if you know it or not, but there are a lot of people who put together screwy formations.

I also know some people who don't seem to remember to rescue.

ur not making sense. not sure what people being bad at the game has to do with mr barbarians.

We rolled the Dreamscape/Nightmare Temple/Ephialtes with a pair of MR barb tanks. Admittedly not the optimal set up and we only even tried because I expected the merc to show up some time during the trip and he never did.
