Just to make sure I understand, is this a converter of real time using Pacific standard time?

Yes, I designed it to work with and display in server time which is Pacific.

Another point I meant to add to that list is eventually adding a feature that will allow you to use your own time-zone for the conversions for added convenience.

If there's any help that you need on this, I'm a professional programmer. Feel free to reach out to me and I'd be happy to lend a hand in this project. I think it's a great idea.

I make this mistake often. Server time is not Pacific Standard Time. It's Eastern Standard Time zone.

PS- Thank you for making this!! Awesome!!

Thank you everyone! I'm glad I could give something useful back to the community after all this time!

I'll keep the existing script where it is until I am sure the sub-domain is fully propagated, but the permanent link I will maintain is this: http://sk-time.viaticum.ca

The exact one I'm using that made things work and seems to match the server is "America/Los_Angeles".

When was the last time you checked the time command, in game?

It is 10 o'clock am, Day of Thunder, Long Shadows 24th, 1382 T.A.
Shattered Kingdoms started up at Mon May 4 23:30:24 2015
Current system time is Wed May 6 07:12:55 2015

Current time eastern = 7:12
Current time central = 6:12
Current time mountain = 5:12
Current time pacific =4: 12
Current system time = 7:12 = eastern

Seriously, Opey, I thought the same until I realized that I had to attend a meeting last Saturday 3 hours earlier than I had intended to. Last night before posting that response, I even logged in, checked the game time against PST where I am presently traveling, and game time was 3 hours ahead of me.

And thanks to Pook for being the one to correct me last week just like he's done here. I always think of Dulrik as being in California, so that's where I always think of the MUD being. Honestly, can't remember if it's always been the case or if it's a more recent reality, but based upon the time command in May, 2015, server time is EST.

Until today, I thought it was still Pacific time. I know that it had used to be at one point, so I always just assumed it to still be. Even when I type time to check when a reboot was, I don't look at the hour:minute, just the day.
