Swayvil and Bleys have been retired for the following:

- Violation of Rule 5 by passing gold from one character to the other.

In addition, since this player refuses to comply with basic multi-play rules, and due to a history of rules infractions, all of this player's characters have been retired and this player is restricted to a maximum of one character from now on. Failure to adhere to this restriction will result in further retirements. This player may petition Dulrik next year to have this restriction lifted.

Chenji has received a small penalty for the following:

- Violation of Rule 2 by using the charm person spell not in accordance with the character's alignment.

Furthermore, as it is this player's third time being warned or punished for misusing the charm spell, it has been disabled on this character and will be disabled on all future characters this player creates. Final strike was also disabled to prevent any misuse of that spell and will be similarly disabled going forward.

Ardith used his grey-aura character to unlock and clear a location with elite light-only gear. He then left it accessible and went back to the exact same location with a paladin character, who could not have joined the original group due to alignment restrictions, in order to collect the loot.

- Violation of Rule 4: No Multi-playing

This is not Ardith's first offense. He has had several characters deleted or penalized due to multiple violations over the years. One would hope that Ardith would be able to keep his nose clean and avoid even the appearance of impropriety, but clearly that is not the case.

As punishment, Ardith is hereby limited to only having a single non-retired character at any given time. Three of his four characters, including the two involved in this incident, have thus been retired.

Due to the nature of the offense and the severity of the punishment, the staff spent longer than normal deliberating on the punishment. We apologize for taking an unusually long time to resolve and communicate this case.

Following an thorough discussion in which the player ericopey took responsibility for their actions and showed a sufficient understanding of the rules, we are lifting the temporary ban (originally set to end at the end of 2016) against him under the following restrictions:

- opey will be on a one-character restriction (increased after additional characters were rolled just before the initial timeline).
- opey will remain on a one-strike* parole basis until the end of 2017.
- opey will allowed to return to the forums on a moderated level until the end of 2016.

*Violations that will apply to this one-strike policy are ones that are willful actions taken in disregard for the rules. Opey has been informed of our expectations and agreed.
