I went to solo Rajjin while playing Kyln. But he had a blonde rogue that can just oneshot both pets in a single round and I get dropped in like 2 seconds? Why is this a thing? Is this intentional? This doesn't seem fair.

Or I can post i here if requested. But this shouldn't be a skill that exists in the game.
In 3 rounds I lost my elemental and my treant, and then I was killed 2 rounds later.
Can we get this skill removed?

This isn't a skill that exists in the game, it's a script. Pets are killed instantly. That blonde npc is actually a bard, not a rogue. It's just one of the unique challenges of that island.

It takes more than an elemental and brute force to solo that group.

The Seraph of war does something similar if your pets are in the room when you summon it.

So is this something here to stay?
I heard rumor that it was implemented because of builders wanting to make the area more challenging. But it’s a pretty cheap death and makes the game anti-solo, even if you’re built for solo.

Its probably there to stay.

I vote to keep it. Makes it more fun and challenging.

Rather than complain about it, you can easily bypass it by using other warlock spells and skills. Just keep at it until you find a good solution where you can consistently kill it by yourself.

Can’t cast into the tent. Because the exit is “tent” so there goes the Druid method.
And any other spell I cast won’t matter unless that blonde one drops real quick.
But I don’t have the LT’s to risk it again. Not ones available to Kyln anyway.
Meh, we’ll see. But it’s still a bogus script.

The bigger issue here is that there is zero-counterplay to this until you die and that is likely why people who stuck around and figured out these things don't find it a big deal.
History repeats itself. I tried to bring up no-magic/ cham mechanics years ago for the purpose of minimizing aspects of the game that were not newbie friendly.
Arkex, if you were new to the game, would you say that dying to this quest feature makes you want to continue playing or quit and find another game? Personally, I feel that there are other ways to modify the difficulty of this quest and that mechanics like this only work with instant respawn games and not games that take hours to recover, and days for newbies.
