Thanks to the community here. You're all exceedingly friendly, easily one of the kindest group of people I've seen on a RP mud...

... but the endless random ganks by spheroids, cubioids, and what have you are just too much for me to handle. It takes far too long for me to successfully reach anywhere un-escorted, as any chance encounter with the polygon-people is death within two rounds. I'm not sure if they're a permanent feature on this mud or some sort of event, but ugh.

I hate to leave behind such nice people, but the game you've chosen is unbearable.

Sorry to hear that. They aren't permanent, and they only attack people who are within their level range. Also, even that is avoidable either by putting any pet in front of you, or simply staying on the roads.

I'm surprised no one suggested getting a pet to you as it's almost always encouraged for players because of the benefits they provide.

Hey! Kiara here.

Sorry to hear that! Like Algorab said, those are part of an event that targets Taslamar currently and are completely avoidable.
Literally every problem like that seems negligible once you reach a certain level though so it's just a matter of braving through it.

That said though, the game is currently the easiest it's ever been to recover, avoid death, and level up. I think if you're finding the ice enemies an insurmountable challenge for your playstyle then yeah, you're probably right, this mud might not be for you. Still hope you'll come back, though!

They are gone now. And Dilfi will help you any time you are in Taslamar. He's a peacekeeper. Come back and try again anytime. This game is worth the time. It's fun and we like you too.
