What's the dumbest way you've ever died in SK?

I wouldn't exactly call it dumb, but I felt dumb after wearing a certain piece of headgear that disables your ability to send tells while trapped in a room with no means of flight/climbing out. At that point, there is only one way of escaping that dungeon.

Dismounting from a mount over a realm of sky to rest or putting something glowing back on before being told to do it.

I think I know what you did there, and if I recall, have done that too years ago. Something similar at least! You are not alone.

Uhg, not long ago I had about a 10 minute IC conversation with a NPC script...

But actually pointed me in how I want to RP this character, so it isn't that bad I guess? Still dumb though!

EDIT: 10 min real time, long-ass 1-sided convo with an NPC in game time.

Well at some point I was playing with a gnome who helped me a lot, got me where I needed to go, then we said goodbye to each other and I think he recalled? Or something, it caused him to dismount from his flying steed and plummet to his death and scatter his belongings. Boy did I feel bed watching him fall.

Teleport roulette is one of my favourites! So many good deaths there, but after a while you learn and it's very hard to die.
