Hi, I'm Peso, and I support CRS, but the idea of making cabal HQs, secretive, like they once were, would pretty much rock.

Hi, I'm not Peso and thusly smart, so I vote you give secret HQs back and make CRS mobile instead of a guardian inside each place.

Then it will be a gradient scale and more fun and real war can actually be waged.

Thats kinda where I was going with this, n00bcake. I think Cabal leaders should have the relic on their person. Not a guardian.

Then all you'll get is the cabal leader with the relic will sit for 30 hours in the safest possible place, and log out until next month. Neat idea n00bso.

The relic will have to be nosave and stored somewhere when the leader isn't online. That's all I'd say. Leaders (and lieutenants) could discharge the relic and go and do things in the name of their cabal.

Just have the relic go back to the guardian when the leader isn't online. First and foremost, if a leader is wearing the relic he becomes unsummonable.

And some saves. +15 to Will and Fort would help against summons and I-win spells.

I actually just would prefer the cabal to have many different relics.

Perhaps power crystals or something that they can capture from each other that give different bonuses, and a main relic that contains all their powers.

Look, can we not try to work 'deeper' into "CRS"?

Unless it is changed to that the loss of relic no longer disables cabal skillsets, and that it is simply used as a bargaining chip of some sort, so that it only signifies wins and losses.

Some leaders rarely log on and are scarcely in the open as it is. What exactly do you think would happen if they are required to wear it or whatever? SK already hardly has anyone playing, do you want to scare what little it has to log on just enough to keep relic?

With 20 regularly online, and some unaffiliated, how many factions do you think are active? Are you seriously entertaining this idea? The recruitment pool of SK is not finite. If one side gains numbers it is merely that players in another faction deleted.

Why don't we revert cabals back to the secret driving force of SK, behind-the-scenes members, influencing the governments in some way?

Instead of having fixed cabal HQs can't we just make those static cabal HQs certain points of capture for Shattered Kingdoms? They can be as generic as they currently are, or they could be Blacksmiths, Stables, Lumber Mill, Gold Mines and so on.

Then they can boost economy or whatever. If say Peacekeepers NPCs captured Empire's stables then all their soldiers become mounted for the duration. Something.

Logging onto SK should be fun, should be welcome, should be encouraging. Stop thinking of ways to punish players who log on. Becoming the focus point of enemy gank squad isn't fun. Losing the relic and not being able to use cabal skills isn't fun.
