Look, can we not try to work 'deeper' into "CRS"?
Unless it is changed to that the loss of relic no longer disables cabal skillsets, and that it is simply used as a bargaining chip of some sort, so that it only signifies wins and losses.
Some leaders rarely log on and are scarcely in the open as it is. What exactly do you think would happen if they are required to wear it or whatever? SK already hardly has anyone playing, do you want to scare what little it has to log on just enough to keep relic?
With 20 regularly online, and some unaffiliated, how many factions do you think are active? Are you seriously entertaining this idea? The recruitment pool of SK is not finite. If one side gains numbers it is merely that players in another faction deleted.
Why don't we revert cabals back to the secret driving force of SK, behind-the-scenes members, influencing the governments in some way?
Instead of having fixed cabal HQs can't we just make those static cabal HQs certain points of capture for Shattered Kingdoms? They can be as generic as they currently are, or they could be Blacksmiths, Stables, Lumber Mill, Gold Mines and so on.
Then they can boost economy or whatever. If say Peacekeepers NPCs captured Empire's stables then all their soldiers become mounted for the duration. Something.
Logging onto SK should be fun, should be welcome, should be encouraging. Stop thinking of ways to punish players who log on. Becoming the focus point of enemy gank squad isn't fun. Losing the relic and not being able to use cabal skills isn't fun.
