are perma slowed now for some reason. Don't mind them being medium sized now instead of giant, but greatsword now gets 1-2 attacks per round. The only other undead barb control is the one patchwork horror in teron, and it seems to have the same issue, like its stuck in mood defensive. I don't mind going to the necropolis to get controls, but there are no barb controls there, only hellion, sorc and merc. Going from giant to medium and having -1 attack per round no longer makes them a viable option. I'd like to advocate if any of the coders have time, to perhaps create new barb controls in the necropolis please. I can even help come up with some new undead descriptions of the new NPCs if need be.

Is that without fury? Cause I thought 1-2 attacks with a greatsword was normal without speed, fury, or haste.

It is. Seems the perma-haste flag was removed from them. They're not slowed, they're just not hasted anymore without you doing it via wand/scroll/pc.

EDIT: Also, it's about damn time someone fixed those NPCs.

That's incorrect.

Also incorrect.

OA is correct. I removed their über haste.
And they will remain this way. They were stupid broken and overpowered for far too long.

The other speculation about changes to size are simply false.

Uh, they really used to be giant and are really now medium. How's that a speculation?

Size medium seems like a good debuff.

Was the perma-haste master level + or something? Just give them haste with a wand/pill/herb. They're extremely easy NPCs to get considering their potential firepower. Having to give them haste yourself doesn't seem like too much to ask.

It's possible something happened unintentionally with the size but I distinctly remember setting the size same as it had been before. I'll check again next time Im on and fix if I inadvertently changed it.
