Only three questions:
1) Doesn't it make sense to see this so that you understand the context?
2) What about quotes within quotes -- are we going for inception here, or just ignoring everything internal to a quoted message?
3) Are you searching for replacement like above, or just a straight up omission of the entire quoted context (which ultimately would be more confusing)?
