I object to this because I am still being forced to cope with three gallons of stupid contained by a two gallon bucket, and I don't want to be. Please included quoted statements in the block feature.

This is still easy to circumvent if people use the quote feature without specifying who they are quoting.

You and I both just did what most people do, which is just to hit the quote button, which automatically assigns the original poster's name to "quote by". That's what I'm looking to have added. Should be a relatively easy fix.

Only three questions:

1) Doesn't it make sense to see this so that you understand the context?
2) What about quotes within quotes -- are we going for inception here, or just ignoring everything internal to a quoted message?
3) Are you searching for replacement like above, or just a straight up omission of the entire quoted context (which ultimately would be more confusing)?

I totally forgot about the Foe feature, so much so that I had no idea what the original post was complaining about.

I'm now all caught up, but haven't thought of a reply yet.
