Nerina plate is Expert I believe and gos against the traditional store bought items can't be stolen by log thieves.

As to the rot on the death, the only explanation I have for this is that you mugged the shopkeeper for the items. I have notice that all items that you mug shopkeepers for become rot on death.

I've had that Glistening plate rot on death after I paid good money for it.

No all the armor I've lost due to rotting on death was purchased, it's been buggy ever since neo-nerina was opened, and I don't think Sadal got around to fixing it when I told him about the problem while player testing neo-nerina.
