I think your concentration is lowered while you're drunked, but it's been a long time since i've gotten drunk...

Anyways, i'm fine with what warped space does. My only problem is the spamming of it. It's one thing to warp one room and the two or three ways out of it, but from the west gate of exile to the courtyard of the inn is sort of extreme. Especially since, as own has pointed out, i use about 75% of my GM sorc's mana per room.

Probably two or three players did that in combination with eachother. As for dispels...have you tried dispelling since this latest update? It's changed quite a bit because the dispels are no longer based on Art and the EQ of the character who casted the room-effecting spell.

I no longer have chars to dispel with ( :( ) so i couldn't check that, but yea, i would guess that with the change warped space could quite possibly stay as it is.

As for the warpage... a GM priest can do most of those rooms :-/

This is not a bug, this is a gameplay issue.

Also, whoever did that to the entrance of Sith' for the sake of n00blets should be castrated IC and have their cabal spells revoked for the period of one IC year.

Should issues of this nature continue then perhaps either the RP around the spell should be looked into, IC. Or perhaps the IMMs should intervene. As it stands, I do not feel the spell is "broken" but I do feel that the way it is used IC is not appropriate.

Just my two copper.

Yeah, okay, sure. Make it a hold spell. Make it so Harlies don't have to go back and renew the spell. See how it turns out, especially with Harlequins sitting around all day in the HQ just laughing their asses off at you. And, please, please, try and infiltrate their HQ after that, lmao.

Thank you, Fepel, but I will decide where my posts go, not you.

I put this thread in bug discussion because I believe that, since the spell doesn't work in anyn way fair, that it is itself a bug in the game.

Thank you very much for your concern though; next time if I want your opinion, I'll ask you for it.

Priests don't have the spell "dispel magic" so they can't "dispel" rooms.

Personally, I find it a bit curious that we're actually discussing cabal spells out in the open on these forums now. It's certainly indicative of what is increasingly coming to look like a completely jaded p-base.

With the advent of CTF (or whatever it is the imms want to call it) and glaringly obvious strongholds of cabal power, along with the propagation of names (a propagation you for one have helped, Naarn) of the various cabal characters both oocly and IC, anyone who suggests that cabals are, or should be secretive any longer is only fooling themselves.

Due to those reasons, I have no problem bringing up cabal skills and spells on these forums. I suggest if you still take issue, Naarn, that you create your own thread, and stop trying to derail this one. Thanks.
