Shattered Kingdoms

I assume this message would probably be met with more fanfare if this weren't the third time I've retired as an imm (and probably won't be the last).

The long and short of it is that I had hoped that since I was no longer a student working on postgrad degrees that I'd have time for the mud. Since the grand total of my hours for SK since September 1 has been less than 30, it is safe to assume my predictions were too optimistic. Being a college professor simply absorbed all my free time.

So, I shall be stepping down from SK immhood. During the holidays, however, I will attempt to catch up with everything I've slacked on, including:

*updating the Zavi faith's symbol
*publishing books for the Zavi faith
*finishing the Magic Temple I promised ages ago
*checking on some of the Hero Tourney amulet problems
*catching up on the bug/typo logs of the last month



If there is something else that you need from me, or that I've talked to you about doing for you but that isn't on the above list, REMIND ME ABOUT IT NOW, because I've likely forgotten.

I'll be leaving SK when I've fulfilled these obligations, some time over the Holidays.

(I may be back again in the summer, as I've done for the past few years, but I of course can't guarantee that.)

You were always my favourite imm, I shall never forget the time I played as your faith's HF. It was always an increadibly pleasant experience to interract with you ICly (That only time you met Izion, and the one you slayed Astar), and work with you OOC.

I honestly and deeply wish you the best with your life and your job... I really hope you shall soon (or at least later) make it to be back in SK.

It's always sad to see you go. Your work on SK is fantastic and you're always willing to help. Can't ask for more than that. RL, as always, takes precedence. Hopefully, we'll see you back here soon and I agree, you should make a character! Take care and best of luck til the next go round.
