I myself think he's not really sorry for saying the wrong thing, he's just sorry he didn't incite anybody but his ooc buddies into an uproar. He'll sit quietly back and wait for the next chance he has to try to get people who offend his buddies sitebanned.

About the nature of the possible bug, if this is how voodoo is supposed to work it is fine with me. I guess I can GM a few shamans with some friends of mine and go around EQ-less, spamming voodoo from within Uxmal without the fear of being outlawed.

And FYI, the msg in the voodoo kill should be changed then. Since as you see...
Code:
You yell 'Hey! A dark-winged male griffon is attempting to kill me!'

It is the griffon that attempts to kill me while I am in Krychire. It should be changed to something else than that if it is supposed to work that way, since the griffon is far away and his spirit companions are the ones responsible.

And even if what you said is right, why don't I get an outlaw msg for Taslamar? Something like
Code:
1. Attempted murder of you by a dark-winged male griffon in Taslamar

However, I do that there is already a long history of RP (or at least of PK and the RP surrounding such PKs) between some of the Hammer and Dark-Avenger's character. It's become a kill-on-sight sort of war there. The RP has already been done over the past days and weeks...further challenges have become pretty much pointless since both sides seem to know that it's a "to YOUR death" affair now.

As a matter of fact the only interactions that I had with any griffon of the Ironclaws was a voodoo from Tragonis' shaman and a few encounters when I tried to defend Krychire's lands from their attacks. My char has not been in Exile to attack nor has a criminal record there yet(for RP reasons, the same applies to Nerina also), but I guess that now I have more than enough reasons to go PK crazy and PK any lightie(did I mention that as a diabolic I could do so anytime?). So, as ppl choose to blindly choose voodoo targets on WHO list(the so called "good guys") I guess I can do the same for summoning/killing other lighties(the so called "bad guy").

PS: About one part in a msg from own!...
own! wrote:
As for the picture involving DA crying like a big baby, you're right, that was uncalled for and has been removed

I could post pictures involving own! in far worse conditions than the one that he posted, but I am a nice guy and I know that he just is mad with me because he doesn't have 1/10 of what I have on my head(and I'm not talking only about brain here :P)
PPS: The above PS is there as a flame since own! decides to keep the "the picture involving DA crying like a big baby" part in his msg.

You tried to summon kill me before we ever had an interaction. Infact you do that a lot, trying to summon kill folks that might be a lighty by their wholist title. You even have had managed that a few times. You are not really one to cast the first stone, bucko.

Nice try dark-nublet but you have tried to summon gank me and others in the hammer more then once. But to bad for you that 14 art doesn't make up for your lack of skills.

I didn't say "Ironclaws". I said "Hammer". Despite what it may seem at times, there is more to the Hammer than Ironclaws, and your character has, indeed, gone after members of the Hammer. If other members of the Hammer choose to avenge them, when you were warned by said characters that you would regret it/pay for killing them/etc./etc./ad nauseum, then who are you to complain about it? Paybacks are a [REDACTED].

I do not believe that the voodoos are happening blindly here. In addition to the above mentioned reason, anyone who prances around the mud with the title "Duchess of Krychire" has a reputation. It is that reputation that has preceded you here and may have contributed somewhat to the happenings.

That does not give you free reign, however, to go and randomly PK lighties (diabolic or not...read the help file if you disagree; there's a fine line there). Titles may give you some clue as to what you can or can't do to someone, but there still needs to be RP involved.

I'll third the comment about dark-avenger's leet summoning of people he's not directly interacted with. I was oooh, veteran to master the times he tried it with me, presumably merely for my title of Ironclaw, if he really wants to complain about this voodoo then he truly is reaping his reward for how he decided to play.

It's funny though, much as I want to flame dark-avenger for his reaction there. I don't think it was him that complained about it to start with. His point about the bug is interesting. I know I was on the losing end of this for a long time, and watched heldorian get spam ganked by people he couldn't then outlaw. I don't see why you wouldn't get outlawed in the land where your victim is hit. ICly. Does seem like a bug to me.

If I went to the magistrate and was like...

"OH MY GOD DUDE OUTLAW THIS MAN HE JUST SENT A HOARDE OF SPIRITS AND ROCKED MY WORLD!"

I think the magistrate would slap me and tell me to go away.

Think the way its set up now is to ensure you cannot be outlawed in two different kingdoms for one spell [attack].
