I used to suffer 0.5 sec lag with ISDN and now 1-1.5 secs with analog connection. So there must be a difference whatsoever.

I get more lag with my cable modem then I did with my old 14.4k dialup connections. But that was back in the day when you dialed the BBS up directly. *sigh* The good ole days of dialing every phone in town to see what lines answered with that computer whizing and wuzzing.

Sorry to all those people who picked up to a computer sychn tone! LOL Never let an 8 year old play with the big toys! :-D

Woa man i know what u mean :D those were the days...

With 2400 and up to 9600 modems you could even whistle the tone to them and fool them ;)

Ahhh good old days... Miss em so much now...

Heh, been there, done that. :D
Never managed to fool a 9600 with whistling, but I did manage it with a 1200/75 usually, and always with a 300kbps :)
