I know holy word dispels, perhaps songs can be targetted by dispel magic?

But then it does say you lost concentration...hmm

I am at a loss here also. From what I know bardic music isn't affected by any magic. Save for deafness.

The Holy Word turned the other NPCs against you.
You lose concentration for every person directly fighting you.
So unless all 5 NPCs were fighting YOU from the beginning that is what happened.

Looks like you were behind him...thus when you cast the spell, they'd attack him in trying to get to you. Once the number of attackers dropped his concentration enough, he'd lose concentration on whatever spells he was holding.

His int and dex are obviously not enough to hold onto the song while he's attacked by those wraiths after you holy worded. Pretty much what Algorab said. S'why I was asking about your formation . . .

EDIT: The obvious solution is to find some dex and int mods, or train some points into it. The bard will want those stats as close to maximum as possible to avoid this in the future.
