Sir Gorvan utters the words, 'yrawzgculatz'.
Sir Gorvan causes a column of fire to spring from the heavens, striking
a fire elemental.
A fire elemental is DEAD!!
You hear a fire elemental's death cry.
A fire elemental's body dissolves into a shower of sparks.

Why would a flamestrike hurt a fire elemental? Shouldn't it heal it instead of hurting it? Kinda like harmful spells healing undead and healing spells hurting them. just my 2 cents.

flamestrike is supposed to be the flames summoned from the heavens thus they are Godly and not normal flames, so fire elementals are affected.

Actually that is likely a bug. When Dulrik tried to change the immunities for certain NPCs that where uneffected by the wrath of outer guardians he nuked pretty much every race's immunities.

Fire elementals used to be immune to flamestrike, it's more then likely a bug.

I had been wondering about that because until recently two fire elemental fighting couldn't hurt each other, but the other day they were hacking away at each other and doing damage. I just thought I had been mistaken about them being unaffected by each other

Immunities in general for elementals are all out of wack. Ever since the last update, they can get poisoned, can be hurt by weapons with fire attacks, and can be hit by some spells like flamestrike.

Elementals in general are broken. :-?

That quote was actually referring to poison and plague damage.

Fepel, people have a right to discuss bugs as they wish now go back to your hoarding of adamantite and mithril that your mage can't use.

Griffons have also been coming down with plague, if a NPC is spreading it... unfortunate
