Griffons are immune to poison but they are still affected by animals biting them.

Quote:

A black snake bites you!
You feel very sick.

[HP: 65%] [ME: 24%] [PE: 99%]

Then when bit a second time I get this:

Quote:
A black snake bites you!
You feel less sick.
You feel very sick.
You claw at a black snake's chest, DISEMBOWELING him!
You claw at a black snake's chest, DISEMBOWELING him!
A black snake bites at your chest, causing a deep gash.
Overall, a black snake has quite a few wounds.

And when the NPC is dead:

Quote:
[HP: 63%] [ME: 22%] [PE: 99%]
>
You shiver and suffer.
Luckily, you are immune to that.

Griffons don't seem to catch the plague, but poison is still broke.

On a differant NPC I got this:

Quote:
[HP: 56%] [ME: 51%] [PE:100%]
>
A large rat bites you!
You shrug off the poison.

Is a griffons poison resistance based of the level of the poison now, or something?

It's not broken.
I think regardless of whether you lose HP or not, the poison is supposed to reduce your strength.
Perhaps an immune response...*shrugs*

This was stated a while back --

Immunity is not a 100% guarantee that you'll never feel the affects of poison or plague.

Then why don't we call it resistance, since using the term immunity seems to imply no affect or complete resistance.

You are now immune to all poisons weaker than you are.... *shrug* It had to become level based to deal with other problems. I'll let someone else come up with a good rationalization.

Is it less than your level?

----or----

Is it less than or equal to your level?

Yeah well, I didn't know how to express the less than or equal to sign.

Sorry, couldn't resist, since I remember a coding run-in you had with D in the past.
