XXX was about to attack you, but your sanctuary stopped him.

After this incident I don't have anything registered in my outlaw memory. Shouldn't this be considered an attempted murder?

I had these in the past and it recorded attempted murder alright...
Perhaps you were in a cyan zone where there's no law?

I dunno it's been some long time, but last time this happened to me i got equal attempted murders, to the tries the person gave on my sanc.

No, your sanctuary got him to back down even before he attacked you so there was no crime.

The attempt was done, and since the attempt is a crime it should be registered in the outlaw memory.

And the attempt was made inside a lawful city.

What Adder said has always applied in my experiences. People spammed kill on my paladin and the law could not take the act as a crime unless the attack went through.

You're sure about your own cases, leetnoob? Maybe they did break the sanctuary finally?

Back in mid 2004, i was attacked 5 times by a person outside Exile, who bounced off my sanc, and i reported him for attempted murder.

I remember it clearly becase he QQ'ed a river right after that.
