I so much enjoy the SK way of getting used to accepting every problem with the game instead of simply fixing it. Helps build character.

Newbs, you don't need the track skill to hunt down somebody.

OMGz, this NPC is blind and deaf and doesn't even have the track skill and he finds me! That's so cheater!

NPC's tracking makes them harder to defeat. However it is explained ICly, it is there because it makes the game more challenging. I understand that yes, it is sometimes a struggle to justify this monster chasing you all the way across Pyrathia ICly, but if there were no risk, it would get a little boring killing brainless NPCs that can be easily overcome.
