This:

should go after this:

Guardians of the Ayamao forged from Knights of Selkwood, assume military and peacekeeping responsibilities from the Druids of the Wild Reaches

Please sticky the original post, perhaps moving the discussion to another topic? The timeline is really usefull and it did take me a good 10 mins to dig it up.

I think the timeline and history could be made sticky and/or moved to Announcements since it's a very very nice reference to the SK world.

It would be a shame to have it pruned in time.

Thanks.

Anyone have anything to add to this thread?

In case you all didn't know, I've been re-editing and updating the first post continually. Re-read it if you haven't read it since it was last updated.

Ha-ha! Reunion time! :drunk:

I know I said I'd be gone forever, but I HAVE to comment on this.

You forgot the one thing in Pyrathia's history that caused many murders, arguements, insults, suicides, and bad RPing: The old Gene Galdis was born! :P But don't fret, the character you once knew as Gene Galdis has changed. A lot. The player has also changed.

Now that I'm a lot smarter and realize I was an arse, I thought I'd like to apologize for m'self.

If any of you give a crap, I have a deviantART site now. ------>http://galdis.deviantart.com

Hope ya'll are good, and thanks for readin'.

I never understood the point of writing a word in slang to shorten it, when the word you end up with is just as long as the original anyway.

Around the meteor fall there was the winds of the damned or some such thing that was going around killing everyone that was eventually stopped by the druids at the time.

Also around that time, the Winter wood sprang up in the Empire due to the Druids and the Imperials destroyed it and thus you have the marshes of the present.

Present is actually normal woodland again.

Meh. That's life, friend. I was playing a MuD I discovered last winter, and I was still In-Character while typing this, and that character uses slang, but I use the good grammar due to the fact that I typically -HAVE- to spell correctly.

I hope that sort of answers it for my usage of it at the time.
