Some people in one of the private forums were talking about Dabi and it reminded me that this announcement is overdue. Basically, Dabi is no longer with us as an administrator. She didn't retire and she wasn't removed, she just seems to have vanished. The details of the RP that she was overseeing will now be picked up by Achernar.

She was a great imm while she was here and is certainly welcome back. If you have any information to explain her disappearance, I would appreciate it if you could drop me a Private Message.

I hope she's not dead.

I don't know how one could find out this kind of information, though.

From personal experience, when this sort of thing happens it's for one of the following two reasons:

1) Real life - something comes up and you get insanely busy and can't get online.

2) Computer problems - Computer dies and you can't get online to let people know what's up. This one tends to happen a lot, especially to imms for some reason...

3) Burnout. taking on too many projects at once in an effort to both prove yourself to the new position an help as many players as possiable.

I personally know at least 2 big projects Dabi was working on, and from what I hear, they had a few more too.

4) She fell off a cliff. (hopefully not)

I could be mistaken but I believe she once told me that climbing was one of her hobbies. So, I hope not as well.

Yup. She was a climber.

Until we find out otherwise she *is* a climber.

Or a faller.

Hope she is alright.

I'm sure she just got a life.

Or died a horrible, horrible death.
