Do items with (flaming) count in place of something that glows? There's no glowing tag on it, so I assumed I'd be safe. Logged in today to find that I couldn't camo. Nothing I'm wearing glows, by the way, and I'm not wearing anything that's invis.

Remove your gear one piece at a time and try.

Been there, done that. Except the one piece I can't, which is cursed. Doesn't have a glowing tag, but it's shortdesc has (flaming) in it. Which is why I asked. Also, the (flaming) doesn't appear to be a tag, but an actual part of the shortdesc.

Identify the object, Goldylocks. You will see that said object isn't a treasure but a light. :P

And if you removed all BUT that, don't you think that is the problem?

And here I thought you knew something about this game.

scouts can't identify - and how's someone supposed to identify if it's on me? bah. And while I did figure it's the problem, I didn't know why it SHOULD be a problem. Most lights HAVE a glowing tag.

Do any of you think camo should be listed as an affect so you know if your actually camo'd or not? Is hide listed as an affect?

Neither are listed as an affect, nor is sneak.

Because you don't know if it's working or not. You may have your butt sticking out from behind a tree trunk and not realize it.

yes, but you do know when you're 'trying' to sneak or hide, or camo. There's a difference between brisk normal walks, and sneaky careful ones. Shouldnt you be aware you're 'trying' to hide/sneak/camo ?
