That's true. the (flaming) effect is just a description built into particular items to give them a particular look, not an actual flag.

Joran's explanation is probably the correct one. Not all "light" objects have the "glowing" flag.

If an item has (flaming) it its short desc, chances are it was made a 'light' object because adding a 'glow' flag would have resulted in a short description of '(glowing) (flaming)'. Use TYPO if a non-glowing light object isn't appropriately described as some kind of light (either with a 'flaming' prefix, etc).

I've already used IDEA asking for a new glow flag called flaming that adds the (flaming) prefix as well as the anti-camo affect. [Yes, Dulrik - I am still Satan.]

Oh noez, Joran won't like that at all. :P

Seriously now, keep flaming items as they are. If their flames glow that much after all, they become glowing as well.
