Just an FYI. I was playing around with my friend I am trying to teach the game and for fun I tried to voodoo him, knowing it would not work since I had auto newbie on. However....

Code:
You utter the words, 'zaaeaa'.
In a tremendous surge of effort, you call forth the spirits of the voodoo.
You stop yourself from attacking a newbie.
A male human looks very uncomfortable.
A male human looks tired and weak.
You release all your spells.
Your spirit companions leave you.



As you can see the affects were still applied. Perhaps a check should be made before concentration.

I do not think that is a bug. You can land mals on a newbie but not kill them. I do not think that is a bug.
