Hey everyone, the summer is coming to an end, and that normall means that one bad thing happens to SKers, and that is that Wert leaves our staff, and we are left with the others, wert brings so much to this game over the summers, its not even funny, this is a big thank you for sticking with our dumb asses Wert! nothing but <3

I would be ungrateful at least if I didn't say a BIG THANK YOU, too. Wert, you are the man! SK being what it is owes a great thanks to you throughout all these years! You make some of the BESTEST areas and the greatest quests, fun for everyone!!! PLZ DUN LEAVE!!!!

Seriously, I appreciate the sentiment.

Likely this will be the last summer for me, however. I'm teaching six, maybe seven classes in the fall, and starting a stint as the college's faculty yearbook sponsor, which means I won't have free time for much other than sleep come September.

And since I hope to start my doctorate next summer, there doesn't seem to be a sizeable break in the foreseeable future.

As well, I find it harder and harder each summer to get my projects done in time and to maintain my enthusiasm for building. I've not played a character on SK since 2001, which leaves me more and more disconnected from what players need, want, and like on SK.


So, while I won't say never, this is probably my last stint as an imm.

Wert, just so you know all the things you did for us as temp KD this summer is much appreciated. Because of your help with the guards it inspired much RP and also inspired us creatively to come up with even more. Which I'm sure is driving Achernar crazy. Hehe I hope if nothing else you can at least make a character to stop by and visit once in a while. You definately get Kudos from this part of So. Cal. Take care and kick [REDACTED] in school.
