-Exactly-, very well-worded Guardian. It's dark purity vs. dark filth. But that's all taste guys. Remember. All personal tastes.

Getting this thread back on topic, what was the name of the Midnight Dragon that the Avatar of Lorani rode? Kaz?

I meant for this thread to be a discussion about all things Lorani+Yenko+Sadr but oh well, I don't care.

Sadr doesn't strike me as an old hag, not in the least. Disease is -one- of her spheres, not all of them. I don't particularly like the religion of Sargas but characters such as Cthugan were played with absolute brilliance. But a lot of the stuff thrown about here seems completely arbitrary. I can even equate it as being as narrow-minded as saying all Jews are bad and should be shot. If you don't want to investigate a religion then so be it, just don't cry about it so much and talk about how lame it is so that those that do enjoy it have to come to the defense of what they like.

PS2: I also inform you that I despise crazy and completely stupid character concepts, as well as vampire-drinking adept-like concepts (most of them at least) and I've never RPed such things in Pen and Paper or the MUD. Will you now accuse me because I do not -like- these things?

I can assure you that no Adept I have ever known has consumed a vampire. Some people are attracted to the concept, others are not.

I am, however, cognizant of the fact that many vampires are susceptible to gunshot wounds. A good reason for Americans to keep the second amendment in effect.

Whatever I'm supposed to be accusing you of...I don't know but I guess it's true.

Another Greek guy that looks strikingly like the last one wrote:
PS3: [sarcasm] Remind me to hold it against you because you don't like Paladins as fanatically as I do. Oh, in case you don't love splatter movies too, remind me to hold it against you because I do. Or maybe cheesecake. Yeah

Here's a guy that professes loving character concepts and RP and other such [REDACTED] but also likes the splatter movies. AKA what SK is right now, PK with no RP or a loosely held together concept. Face it, most characters that are in SK are Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers. They go somewhere, they kill a bunch of people and then they leave, without saying a word.

So true. We are all mass murders.

I was -presenting examples- Ardith. I was being hypothetical... I actually laugh at splatter. Start thinking, I beg you. Even your flames have become completely mindless rants.

Speaking of Yenko, one thing I liked about her was that she was the Patron of Deep-elves.

Always liked the idea of Patron gods to the different races.

I have to agree with Rada. The goddess Yenko had a cold pristine hardness about her where as the goddess Sadr does not. This has nothing to do with the following but the goddesses themselves and their spheres of influence. Winter Cold and Pain vs Disease Pain etc... Winter has the harshness but a cleanliness where as disease seems festering.

Let me just say: You've obviously never had frostbite if you think suffering through winter is clean. Nor have any of the entertaining things that happen to your skin in really cold weather happened to you. Also, I've gotten the impression a fair number of Yenko's groups used plague to test inductees and such. The cleanliness thing doesn't make sense to me. Suffering is 'clean' insofar as the religion is concerned because it's holy and purifying. John Paul II babbled about divine suffering, and his particular brand of it was nasty, nasty, nasty. It doesn't matter if it's based in extremities falling off and skin cracking or boils and dysentery, from where I stand. But that's just me. I might say Radamanthys is a Japanophile and loves Hellions and that's the issue since I can empathize with that more easily.

Also Ardith is a crackhead.

That has also passed on to Sadr. Something known within the faith, if not outside of it.
