Should starvation/thirst eventually add fatique and eventual death?
Yes 31%  31%  [ 13 ]
No 36%  36%  [ 15 ]
Possibly, but I feel fatique isn't the appropriate maledictation. 10%  10%  [ 4 ]

Yee gods, can we say overkill? The only races that have to eat all the bloody time is large/giant races. It makes sense. you play a giant, you eat lots. Try playing a sprite. You only have to eat like every ooc hour or something great like that, it's call... gasp... REALISM.

Next you guys will be wanting to have to relieve yourselves of bodily fluids, and everyone's gonna have to stop ever 15 minutes for a bathroom break and some mudsexxors are gonna rp trying to look over your shoulder...

see....realism isn't needed in EVERYTHING on the mud...so none of this GASP realism crap anymore...only where its appropriate...like..when I say it is. :P

Whomever is speaking about realism needs to adhere to the policy of shutting their trap. Realism has no place in Shattered Kingdoms.

Lyara looks over your shoulder.

Lyara smiles at what she sees.

Lyara says to you, "Need me to aim that for you?"

THAT IS NOT WHAT WE NEED.

I was always wondering why the PK mud I played had damage from hurt / thirst but SK didn't. It never really made sense to me.

Yes, but ONLY, I REPEAT, ONLY if the time was like 10 times slower. I just HATE the way my character grows noticeably hungry and thirsty so quickly.

Anyway, water would be the important thing, not food. Dehydration would take its toll on you after the first day, but food could just annoy you a lot during the first week of abstenance.

Considering after not eating for an entire day you'll become hungry. and a IC day is what half a hour?

Oh, and ppl should die if they spend more than 10 IC days without sleep. In RL you do so.

C'mon ppl, get serious now and abandon this crappy idea. I feel it is just a sort of "hmmm what will we talk in the forums about today?" kinda thread.

I would have voted for option four, but I refuse to put my name to something as poorly written as that.

Now, I don't know about all of you, but my character's natural psychic ability (also utilised with the 'tell' command) keeps him from dying to such mundane things as a lack of food, water, shelter, or sleep.

What if it were written like this, Jardek? Would you vote for it then?

You're a dolt! How could you even suggest such a thing? We don't want your bloody realism!
