Alas, I'm quite new here, and am unaware if Sef's broth (which I am yet to have a taste of) is a quest which I must somehow figure out by myself.

I have greeted, saluted, waved and smiled at him. I have asked for broth, food, feeding. I even handed him my sack (which I cannot recover, and thus, feel was probably a real bad idea).

I have yet to figure out how to get the loveable lug to feed me in any way, shape or form, and I have been hungry for a while now.

What to do :o

Not sure who Sef is, but you might want to buy it.

1) Who is Sef?
2) Have you tried using the 'list' command? It allows you to view what the shopkeeper will sell (which you can buy using the 'buy' command, as mentioned above).

The command you are probably looking for is LIST. It can be used with all shopkeepers to inquire what they have to sell and for how much.

I can't wait for the next ten posts that say the same thing.

I feel quite silly right now.

Thank you. I had no idea I had to buy the broth, just thought it was a kink of the academy.

own!, we all posted within a minute of each other and were unaware that anyone else was already responding. Think before you write.

When you break the rules about insults on forums outside general discussion, Baldwama, you make it very difficult for me to abide by them myself.

I suggest you keep what you must think is a witty tongue to yourself if it involves comments about the intelligence of others - especially considering that my comment was a wry observation rather than an attack on you.

And don't feel silly, Minki. We were all new once, and most of us made the same, or similar, mistakes.

I won't even call it a "mistake". It is an experience and I am sure there will be many more new experiences on your way on Shattered Kingdoms. I found learning new things about this game is the most exciting thing. Enjoy your time here and welcome to Pyrathia. :D

I must confess I had the same trouble...

My character starved for many days before I could get OOC help. IMMs should make a reference in the 'roomdesc' for players to get a hint to use 'list' as a command, instead of asking for broth over and over again. Or perhaps make the list an object. (be looked, examined, etc.)
