If you think AOE spells getting rid of all the images makes mirror image useless, your just plain wrong. As it is, mirror image is already too powerful. It should be wimped to like two images at gm.

Mirror image is the staple defense spell of sorcerers. Wimp it and the entire class becomes trash.

I respect Dalamar but I don't like what he thinks about it.

Rial, however, needs beat.

Oh yeah, it makes total sense for a room full of PCs/NPCs, a sorc and his 5 images to be burned with a fireball(or a holy word, or any AoE attack) and while all the PCs/NPCs are incinerated, the sorc laughs as one of his images is burned to nothing and 4 more remain.

I could go more technical about other spells of how this thing is wrong but that's better be kept away from open forums.

The fact is, MI is IMHO the most powerful spell of SK atm, I consider it more powerful than even sleep. And if you say it's not, why everyone asked for MI on their hero amulets?

And kuroki, I take a break from my scout the last 7-10 days and I play 3 PCs who all have access to MI easily. And I plan to make one of these my main soon since my scout won't live that much longer.

I didn't have it on mine. I prefered my bugged stackable protection instead. Of course it only last for a few ticks (dropping one protection a tick) but I actually went into battles with ten protections up a few times.

Thats far more leet than a stinky mirror image. With 15 hits of stone skin what does four more matter anyway? Against magic? Magic didn't hurt hero's anyway. Unless maybe they didn't have enough fort for FoD/petrification.

Dirt kick? And it's perfectly possible to lose your amulet, as i'm sure you're aware.

It was a bug but if I would have reported it they just would have taken it away. If you want it reported then do it right here. Any item that gives scripted protection will do it. Hell it maye even work with potions and herbs.

Try getting the Righteous Avenger, wait for it to pulse, log out, log back in and repeat.

That's the point? Not reporting bugs is punishable.

And I'm sure you'd have been quicker to point it out to D if you played against somebody with 15 stacked protections.

I didn't really feel compelled to because I couldn't do it without logging out ten times in a row. I just didn't use it accept for the first time I figured it out. Revin is delete, points moot. I think some bugs arn't really bugs but they add magic to the game. For instance I didn't tell Jinithin about it, cause he wasn't the Hero.

For all I know the bug only shows in the affects list and doesn't affect actual protection.

You are a [REDACTED]. Bugs are no magics in the game, they are errors in the code that have to be fixed. Just because you abused a bug with a character that is now deleted, does not make you less vulnurable to punishments if imms declare the need to do so with you. So the point of bug abused is never moot.

On the brightside, you can stack protection all you want, you still only get 1 protection to protect you. Since the spell it self doesn't stack, even if you have 1000 protections on your affect list.

Yup thats what I assumed Trag, since it didn;t protect me anymore. I just wanted to see who the whiners were. Guess we figured that out.

The first PAR I had was based off of enlights for reporting bugs. So don't call me a [REDACTED] cheat0r.
