Shattered Kingdoms

I have had this happen to me several times already, and I understand how it is supposed to work. However, what is going on when items are taken and the message is not shown? I am thinking SK is getting a bit unstable and that is causing some of the random bugs of different kinds that people have been seeing more of lately. Since we have not had a systems crash of late and the monthly reboot has not occured yet, the number of weird situations is creeping up. (By the way, I also noticed the varigated pricing on selling more than one of a single item seemed to go into affect as Dulrik planned and then returned to the old status quo again, so something is up there as well.) Anyway, I was wondering if going to two standard reboots a month might eliminate some of these random glitches for the short term at least? Much easier than having to try to hunt down all of the random bugginess.

I haven't noticed any bugs with anything. Are you sure the items that dissapeared weren't no save?

Unless a weapon I have had for over a week and a new pair of gauntlets suddenly became 'no save' items. If that's the case, then it's a different bug, but still a bug.

I have experienced this too, an item below my level just disappeared from a container without a word. And yes, I am absolutely positive that it isn't nosave/deathrot.

Are you sure an actual thief didn't take them? Walking through Teron with stuff in your inventory, you're going to lose it probably. And then there's always player thieves.

I was not in Teron, I was given the gauntlets, I put them on, and then put the old gauntlets away in the knapsack on my back. I was wielding the weapon the entire time and didn't get into any fights where I could have been disarmed. The old gauntlets were still in my knapsack when I logged on. The new ones were gone along with the weapon. NO MESSAGE!!! And to my knowledge, nothing was above my current level either.

No save gauntlets and weapon is the only logical explanation.

I have been playing, logging on and off, using this weapon for over a week. How can it suddenly become a 'no save' weapon?

The gauntlets were given to me by an experienced player that just received replacement gauntlets of their own and did not need the old ones anymore. I do not know how long they had had them, but I would assume they would have been aware if they were 'no save' or not.

Therefore, it is still a bug.

I'm inclined to think that there really is a bug at play here. I've heard enough savvy, experienced players complain about this sort of thing to think that there really is something going on.

I also had a mithril chest from Nerina and Im champion and I have lost it now twice.
