What you think is wrong, juggernaut. The game needs more players before it can support another kingdom.

I agree that this would be a bless, p-wn, although I am fairly sure that many would eager to become part of the deep realms. Just my opinion, though.

Who would be that? Some strangers that somehow "hear" about Shattered Kingdoms now has a starting kingdom called "the Deep Realms" and just decide to get here and create a new character? Or former players who already left and just because of that come back no matter if RL could be more important than a new starting city despite it was the reason to leave in the first place?
I sincerely doubt that. I think, you were referring to new "characters" what certainly be true. We're talking about new player. Now, go to Bribberman and buy a clue.

And it was Jan who first corrected him. Funny how things change, isn't it? Jan's no longer on the bottom end of the totem pole.

Strange how I still can't read any reference of mine that NEW players would eager to make deep-realm characters. Hmm... Makes me ponder on YOUR bad english and reading comprehension abilities.

P.S. Sometimes, it is either prejudice or the begining of blindness. You should look into it.

Moving away from the... Slight unpleasantness that always comes as part of the package when juggernaut decides to make his opinion known, I think basically everyone who matters can agree that while more kingdoms would be a fantastic idea, we need a larger playerbase for it to be feasible.

My only question is this. The dwarves and gnomes hate the deep-elves. Which part of the deep would then be the capital?

There are also a few things about Ch'zzrym that would need shored up, unless Craeftilin or Vaerlain were used for the starting point. I still don't think it would make sense that the dwarves would listen to anything other than a dwarven magistrate, gnomes a gnome, and deep-elves wouldn't accept anything other than one of their own.

I guess it could become like the Alliance, but for the deep, but why go to all that work when you already have the option of starting in Teron or Nerina, can master deep written and spoken, and then just tell people you are from Vaerlain, Craeftilin, or Ch'zzrym. Yes, it'd be cool to be able to start in the deep, but I cannot imagine a tribunal or cabal that would fit all three areas. That is the biggest issue in my book. The deep is just too divided to be a suitable starting kingdom.

I could see you point but from what I remember the gnomes and the dwarves are friends with eachother although they are not friendly to the deep-elves. I can see an alliance between the gnomes and dwarves and the deep-elves separate. Why not two then? Or such that someone doesn't have to spam to oblivion to master deep. Why not when you decide to pick Zhenshi or Teron. There is another question:

Are you from the Deep-realms?
[y/n]

If they say yes then it would trigger them to know deep not zhenshi or uxmaln
