Trust me, baldwama, "you smell" is a good reason for me to not rez you. Especially if I'm a darkie priest. Racism plays a part in rez/no rez, and not necessarily the obvious elf/delf racism. Personal likes and dislikes can come into play and "you smell" might simply mean "I don't like you so get lost."

ANYONE, who knows my priest and has seen me around giants can vouch for me on this. Selzmar ALWAYS insults a giant at every possible turn, often calling them ugly and smelly. Krok, Boug, Sadack, Jonak, speak up!

Thanks for this forum, Frollie. We were really running low and now there are plenty priests to go around. No more waiting in the River for 4 hours.
 Hugs.

I actually started a Meissa seeker but everytime I'm on, the who list seems to have been vacated. The entire 20 minutes of each day! (Busy old man with even busier fertilizer-factory Great Dane pup)

Stuff like this makes me a sad priest. =(

Code:
Someone tells you 'hi can i get a res plz'

You reply to someone 'Certainly. What is your name?'

Someone tells you 'hi any chance i can get a res plz'

You utter the words, 'gsufuh guoph'. (spirit sight)
Your eyes tingle.

You reply to someone 'That's cute.'

Someone tells you 'whats cute i need life'

You reply to someone 'Either you aren't dead or you have fallen in XXX. I need your name, either way.'

Someone tells you 'btw my name is (my priest's name) can u rez me?'

So I can see how others might feel less inclined to play them.

Assuming they were not pulling your leg just for the hell of it, they may have still been manifesting themselves on the mortal plane, been speaking a non-native tongue, had a name similiar to your own and committed the ever popular crime of a typo. It does happen, especially with newbies that are freaked out at being dead in the first place.

Had the person been manifested, he would have been able to see whoever. The fact that the 'someone' was still invisible after he casts spirit sight = someone affected by invis, hiding or camo, ie. not dead. I can't think of any other reason why they would show up as a 'someone' after spirit sight.

I've had similar happen to me, and no it's not exactly inducing to play a priest. The overwhelming number of tells you get for resurrrections, gates, heals, brews, enchantments, information, guidance and/or (RP) atonement is more than enough to keep yourself busy.

A poorly worded prank like that wouldn't make me amused either.
