His fireball should really hit the whole room. It passed through me when I was at 0% health, and I should have died as well...but I didn't.

There are several valid possibilities. Either he was ethereal or you were ethereal or you had a GM level resist elements going or you were polymorphed into a form that is immune to fire.

That's the round immediately before. Salak wasn't ethereal. Apparently the spell just stopped working as soon as the warlock died (he was casting it on himself).

Okay so here's my new assumption. He fireballed the room. He died and became a ghost, hence ethereal. His attacks against the rest of the people in the room (aka you) were then made as if he were ethereal. So yes, a bug, although it wouldn't occur very often.

I'll reiterate that Salak is the luckiest SK player I have ever seen. Even if I did walk into you sleeping once, but I had a tip on your general location.
