Ok, so this isn't the first time this has happened. From my understanding, as long as you're wearing the (Sacred) armor, and you're of the religion, is shouldn't crumble....right?

Code:
eq
You are using:
<worn on finger>     a silver ring etched with blue and purple floral designs (superb)
<worn on finger>     a strange band of wind (brand new)
<worn around neck>   (Sacred) a pulsing globe of chaotic light (brand new)
<worn around neck>   (Sacred) a pulsing globe of chaotic light (brand new)
<worn as symbol>     a butterfly emerging from the heart of a Maelstrom
<worn on body>       (Sacred) the Breastplate of Chaos (brand new)
<worn on head>       a wildly-colored Jester's cap with tiny silver bells (brand new)
<worn on legs>       (Sacred) the Greaves of Chaos (brand new)
<worn on feet>       (Sacred) the Boots of Chaos (brand new)
<worn on hands>      (Sacred) the Gauntlets of Chaos (brand new)
<worn on arms>       (Sacred) the Armplates of Chaos (brand new)
<worn about body>    a long chamois robe with belled sleeves (superb)
<worn about waist>   (Sacred) the Belt of Chaos (brand new)
<worn around wrist>  a sea-blue armband (superb)
<worn around wrist>  a sea-blue armband (good)
<right hand>         (Humming) Cacophony (brand new)
<left hand>          (Sacred) the Shield of Chaos (brand new)

I think Werttrew said it will crumble for everyone, it will just last longer for members of the faith that it matches. I think the idea was to prevent hoarding.

I do not think that is the idea. I know players who had their sacred eq for a long time, dozens of hours RL while logged in and never crumbled as long as they were wearing it. Sounds like a bug to me. Because if they are to crumble after all, there is not meaning in getting such things since any enchantments you put on them will need to be redone.

3) I will also set a timer on each bit of eq. When it loads in the mud, the timer will be short-lived (a few RL days or so and it crumbles). When a faithful person wears it, the timer will be set back to high. If it is removed by a faithful person (or taken off a faithful person), it is set back to low. This way, a non-faithful person can’t wear the armor indefinitely or keep it indefinitely.

I don't really get how it works or how a faithful member can prevent his well enchanted suit to crumble. Anyone care to clarify?

I had originally interpretted 'high' to mean a bit setting that disabled crumbling. It'd be nice if Wert would clarify if this was a bug or working as intended.

It will crumble eventually, but the number is set so high that it should be weeks before it'd dissolve. Seems like something screwy is going on here...and I can't detect any error with the scripts.

Send me a PM with your character's name. At least I can replace it with no bother.
