Code:
Ellexie utters the words, 'zabrahpdjatz'.
The earth trembles beneath your feet!
You yell 'Hey! Ellexie is attempting to kill me!'
Ellexie's violent tremor batters your body as you are tossed about.

Here I am getting violated by an earthquake spell as I'm sitting on top of a flying pegasus.

How does that work?

Your legs are so long that your feet were dragging on the ground.

I think it's because the earthquake spell directly checks for the affect "fly" instead of whether or not you are actually mounted on something that is flying.

Pretty sure that the earthquake spell hits you if you are in the room the spell was cast in regardless of whether or not you are flying.

If you are actually flying earthquake won't hit you, it's only if you're on a flying mount that it still hits.

Same issue with the bridge on the orc hive, if you are on a flying mount, you still plummet to your doom.

Houston, we have a moth caught in a relay switch here.

It took a while to find this, but here is what happens in the orc hive with a flying mount. It is slightly different from the earthquake problem, but the conditions are the same.

Quote:
The platform collapses, sending you into the chasm!
A silver-winged pegasus stops flying.
You dismount from a silver-winged pegasus.
You lose your concentration on spirit sight.
You can no longer see the spirits.
You lose your concentration on spirit aura.
Your spirit companions leave you.
You have been KILLED!!

The pegasus for some reason stopped flying once the platform collapsed. You don't see any strange behavior like that where earthquake is concerned, but it is still a problem with the coding not realizing you are on a flying mount.

I asked an Imm about this and they told me basicly to pound sand. It is a result of bad script building.

I remember this with the caves that are east of Nerina, the ones with the ice that breaks up. It happened to me once in there
