Warlock + fire elemental + lvl 30-35 store bought pet + mithril armor + GM stone skin + GM ironguard + GM resist elements = [REDACTED] to kill

Any good player could avoid PK with his warlock anytime if he had all those mentioned above. Don't even compare a sorc or necro to a warlock, a warlock has way better defenses if he has a store bought pet also.

It was changed for good reason, so there's really no point in debating it. Besides if you want your shrink/enlarge pet just wait till your elemental leaves. It's not that huge of a deal.

The problem is now I have to fly around with weak defense. I don't see how a warlock who is always 3rd row would really be that much of a buff. You still got backstab, in fact I would more likely that not put the pet 3rd row to prevent the backstab. Besides, any good warlock can always get away when he/she is in second row anyway.

If a fire elemental is weak defense to you, then you really don't know your class well. And being in 3rd row is a big deal, besides if any good warlock can always get away when he/she is in second row then you don't really need another pet.

I'm going to give you the benifit of the doubt on this one and leave it at I didn't clarify well enough...

The PET doesn't provide good defense, I don't just buy it abuse it and leave it, I fly around with it and sell things after I shrink them...

Also, you didn't explain why being 3rd row was a big deal. Could you explain your thinking instead of just making a statement.

There are easier ways for a warlock to be a [REDACTED] to kill. The same method can be used by necro's and sorc's too.

In fact our famous neighborhood necro Delear uses it as well as my warlock.

Yes, I could have more pets in fact I have the item to do that, but the point is I want the utility pet, and a normal elemental.

Sorry about breaking this all out into mutliple posts, I didn't read everything before I resonded :-/

Since, I am playing a Warlock right now, and he is almost gm. I will put in my two cents OMGWTF are you thinking? Two pets? I am practically unsurprisable as it is. Fire elementals are leet (Although, it would be nice to have a modifier in the spell to specify size). Plus having stone skin/resistance/ironguard.

I have walked through certain towns and just owned everything, including a pc or two (had help with the pc's). There are certain things that I would like to see Warlocks have (either enlarge/shrink or the modifier to the conjure spell), but for the most part they don't need any real beefing.

Look, I'm not asking to be able to run around with a heavy-camel or heavy warhorse, I'm asking for a strickly utility based pet.

Oh and Muktar I'm not exactly sure why you'd want to specify the size when you conjure an elemental, there are other changes I'd like to see to that spell before I get to specify the size, like if you lose your elemental, you can cast the spell to summon your current elemental, and not have to wait for your lost one to pop. Or at least the option to name the elemental so you could have someone else summon it, but those things aside, should my wish become a reality you won't need to specify the size, you can just use the other pet to get the job done.

because every warlock other than you would get a camel for the taunt win. Taunt, fire elemental, Dspells, and magma... are you joking?

Lakir, Yeah, I would also like to be able to name it. But I find it really annoying that either you have to find a sorc to tag along with you to go to certain places (I don't know how giants deal with this problem) or you don't cast until you get inside and then on top of it, it is stuck there. You idea is also a good one.

Wow, you haven't played in a long time. I'm pretty sure the area your thinking of has been fixed in that regards.
