I enchant an item and fade it. Nothing unsual about that. But..

Some sleeves coated in leaves and bark lay here.
A set of sleeves coated in dead leaves and bark is made of mithril and size giant.

..something is wrong with that. The armor comes from a medium sized NPC and is therefor also medium sized. When fading an object it returns the the original size, which in this case isn't the right one. I've also seen many people complain about their armor changing size on its own accord while wearing it.

If the armor was magically resized, fading would also eliminate that resizing. The armor may have been resized at a blacksmith to giant, and then a sorceror shrank it with a spell from there to medium.

She said it originally came at size medium and when it faded it turned it to size giant. Everybody knows that the shrinking and enlarging is lost when it's faded but that isn't the case here. It's actually changing size. This has also happened with some other armor of mine which was changed size, had nothing done with it and it mysteriously changed size. That's no fun for a melee class.

The armor came directly from the NPC, so no.

I didn't even know you could 'fade' magical resizing.

In my Imming days, I remember that resize (enlarge and shrink) spells were listed permenantly as enchantments on the item, much like magical protection, and resistance and such. I'm sure that has something to do with it. It may or may not be a bug, but in fact something intentional.

I'm sure Dulrik will clear it up though. ;)
