Well here was my situation: It originally began when I couldn't concentrate on flamestriking anymore during my attack against NPCs (while in melee) at the chancel. I was playing with three acolytes. I then released all of my spells and it still didn't work. Afterwards, no spells up, had to sit down to flamestrike the same NPCs i flamestriked with a crapload of spells up not ten minutes before. After that, no longer worked at all.

Perhaps it is triggered when you bite off to much to chew in the concentration department? (IE: you try to flamestrike a bunch of NPCs with frenzy up)

I would wager more that it was an issue with frenzy.. but honestly, I've had it happen after seemingly nothing of importance. No anti-magic rooms, no frenzy, no SD, no nothing.

i think I got it.

Check with the Paralyze spell the NPCs are getting. Before I was going in with all my spells up, i couuld flamestrike (no, no frenzy or beserk) and i could even sleep and hold up my spells. Now I'm getting paralyzed all the time, I can't even flamestrike the NPCs when i'm fighting them (which i could before) and i can't hold the spells I normally can hold up while I'm sleepiing.

So...I think its the paralyze the acolytes are getting to use.

I'm pretty sure we had this problem long before paralyze was added.

Mmm. Okay. I'm just saying because the acolytes in the chancel didn't have paralyze before (well, siince i last played a lightie) and I did pretty well before without this problem at all.

So it was merely a suggestion.

Well yea. Every time I fight em :-P. Thats why I'm wondering if it has anything to do with Paralyze (this concentration bug).
