You silly boy. If I wanted to work full time in my position, I'd be offered 80k per year on the spot, but instead I'm also a student in one of the three best universities in the country.

I'm also about four steps ahead of you in the law degree department - so just remember, when you start making "real" money, you'll be just another newbie to me. Again.

What we have here, Fepel, is you trying to one-up me and failing miserably. I hope you've learned your place. Again.

As much as I'm "feelin'" the little spontaneous rap battle that seems to have erupted here about who gots more "enz," I feel compelled to remind everyone that The Pantheon section of the forums has a "pants mandatory" policy. The proper place in which to flagrantly wave around ones e-penis must therefore still remain General Discussion. Thank you.

You have all my respect.

Is this RP going to be class exclusive like the last one? Can we request a certain theme for future RP's to you?

To fepel and the pawn...

Wow for your educations making you monies! Yay! My ex-roomate made 5 g's a week 'facilitating partying'. You know what else? Thats all stuff that can't be touched by the IRS. Infact he could get money from the government given he has a disability.

It make me smile that a 19 year old high school drop out makes hundreds of thousands of dollers more than you two lawyers do combined.

If you try to say it won't pay off in the end then your wrong. Lawyers won't be paid off in the end unless their smart, that goes the same for everyone. I know a 42 year old dealer that was banking during the hayday of the 80's coke phenomona.

He now gets dividend checks exceeding both your yearly wages, quarterly.

The American Dream has been supressed, by industry and corporation for the most part. Anyway, screw your laws in the anal cavity. Entraprenuership owns your shoddy book learning in the face hard. The world needs lawyers just about as bad as it needs politicians.

George Washington was a pot farmer. He turned down the offer for soverignty and a crown. Can you say that about anyone else today?

On an unrelated note: Go read 'Snow Crash' by Neal Stephenson

The average starting salary for a lawyer is 90k, OVT. I flat out don't believe your story about your mysterious 'friend', as I know people who do the same thing successfully and don't make nearly that much.

PS. Neither Fepel nor I are lawyers yet. I doubt that Fepel ever will be.

Then your friends must suck at it.

or

Your out back hick town can't support that much recreational drug use.

or

Your friends don't sell the most lucrative products.

Do you know how much a pound of high-grade "kind bud" goes for? Or even a few ounces of anything with the phenithylemine molecule attached to it for that matter? Well if you did, you'd see the market for an average college town full of rich kids can FAR exceed what I've said above.

My ex-roomie was small time.

Oh right, you're talking about selling drugs. No, none of my friends do or would do that.

It's true, peddling drugs is a lucrative business. I'll pass on doing something morally bankrupt though - and I've certainly turned down better deals than a measly 5k a week for the same reason.

I thank God that we have invented the forums, so successful people can share their glory with us.

I finish paying my debt in February, will have my LSAT taken by then and will be shopping around for schools. Hopefully IBM will just give me a leave of absence, or better yet help me pay my way.

In the end I will be a practicing lawyer specializing in patent law and copyright infringement in the IT arena within three years or so.

And OVT, good for your friend. Some people work one way, others work in others. I myself couldn't be a dealer... I tried it in my youth and didn't like it at all, that whole having morals bit. Also once my current significant other hits 35 and her trust fund opens up from her grandfather dying neither one of us will have to worry about money ever again. I want to work for the sake of working, so I can do something for and by myself.

Regarding marjuana, I personally feel that prohibition should be lifted, and the government should oversee and tax commercial production, processing, and distribution of MJ. Along with home growing with a permit, just like good old Georgie did.

Fun fact: The rough draft of the Constitution was written on hemp paper. ;)

ROFL

to fepel...

They should also lift the band on other drugs deemed illicit. Not all of them. Alot of them are horrid. Some of them, however, increase something called 'long-term potentiation of the synapse'. Kind of like how working out your muscles increases the amount they can lift and endurance. Except in the brain it lets the cells fire more often and for a longer duration. Things like mescalin, psilicibin, and various other members of the phenithylemine family -when used responsibly- can lead to a better healthier brain. This is contrary to what the FDA wants you to believe.

Drugs with the enphedimine (meth, X, various pharms) can blow out those brain cells in an explosion of seretonin. Not only that but as well as strip the calcium from your very bones. Your muscles utilize calcium to contract, that would be why meth-heads have stronger muscles and use it to work out. [REDACTED] for them their destroying all their internal organs and making their skeletal structure brittle. Cocaine and opiates (read heroin, opium, various pharms) are nearly as bad. We need some of them to a degree for appriate medical reasons (anesthetics). However the abuse of them is just as bad. Keep all these scheduled.

Now I'm ranting too much...good thing I didn't get into the legally prescibed pharecuticals and how friggen bloody horrid they are. I can't believe how the FDA and drug-companies are allowed to peddle their filth while outlawing some of gods greatest inventions.

[REDACTED] marijuana, shrooms, and peyote could very likely be the cause of our cognitive abilities....

I swear I'm stopping now, but I could write a god damned essay on this subject.
