I see, how exactly would I go about finding another hellion?

Use the who list, and be on the lookout for potential dark knights. As a seeker of Algorab, you might want to pay special attention to any reference to the Raven, Father, or any of Algorab's interests (Fear, Tyranny, Vengeance) Even if not knights, members of the faith can let the faith officials know about you.

Also, the mentor command does its best to match your class when it looks for a mentor within your country. You might give this a try. (See "help mentor" if need be.)

As for stats, you could do worse. I'd go ahead and max STR, then start working on your low CON, which will improve your hit points for both past and future levels. That should keep you occupied up to finding an appropriate mentor in a few levels. If you're not familiar with training attributes, try "train stat" with a trainer. You may have to try a variety to get the options you want.

So max strength, then work on constitution. Understood. How will I know hwen a stat is maxed? It'll say it won't increase anymore or is there a more subtle hint?

When a attribute is maxed, you won't be able to find anyone who will offer to train that attribute anymore - including the person you just trained it with.

Best advice: don't play at all, you'll get addicted and it'll eat up about 2200 hours of your life until you no longer have time to play. 8) That's if you're like me, anyways. If you reach cannibal/tragonis like status, you'll be putting on 8000+? hours. That's about 333 days. Almost a year of playing SK, excluding eating, sleeping, going to the bathroom, leaving the computer at all... yea. I think D has like 15k or so by now. That's just his actual login, too- I doubt that includes the time he actually spent doing the nitty gritty coding.

Barring that, I would suggest finding a circle of character friends in the game. The kind of friends you would feel comfortable just sending a tell to for help/advice/etc. It's important to stay involved and connected to the game world. You'll get a small fraction of the amount of potential enjoyment you could otherwise if you don't check out what's going on in the mainsteam world. Don't interpret that to mean that you should exclude your own little events and such, however.

Don't play into the hype that stats are everything. Most of the advice I see here are stat related. Life might be a little rough if you're very skewed statwise, but you should get the hang of things and do an ok job by the time you finish leveling. Just play and don't plan ahead so much at this point- you'll start kicking yourself for "poor" stat choices earlier which in the long run is quite meaningless.

And yea, if Slayne ever beats you up, just go

say ooc: yea, but at least i don't lag out in PK.

He'll get it.

I agree with Adder. The most fun I have with this game is the RP and the stupid inside jokes you'll develop with other characters and/or their players. As you've seen in game with Jada it's fun to just talk about nothing. Don't be afraid to sit at an inn and start up some RP. Even if all you do is call everyon half-breed bastards and they all end up hating you.
