Green: There is an active clergy able to mentor, ressurect and create symbols (F2 or higher).

Yellow: One of the following is not true of their clergy: They are active, they are mentor and can ressurect, they can create symbols (F2 or higher)

Red: Urgent attention needed. There is no active clergy for this religion, or they do not meet any of the last two requirements listed above.

I don't have enough information on the uncolored ones to pass any judgement as of right now. The sooner I can get that, the sooner we can update your situation.

This information is not to be taken as "Ooo I can get an instant HF priest of this red religion." It is to give some guidance to the consideration being done during character creation.

If you are thinking clergy, especially dark aura, go for it. And if it fits with some RP you would like to do, try and aim for the red and yellow religions respectively. Don't, however, get any expectations from this OOC means and don't try to fill a hole that would not be fun for you. A soured clergy member is worse than having none at all.

I would appreciate it if this was stickied and updated as needed by Immortals, please. IMO F2, mentor clergy is as essential to the faith as having active HFs.

Fear is in desparate need of clergy right now. Once Jeruvere is gone we have no active clergy that I know about.

Nashira is listed as red in the thread about leaders so I can only assume that they do not have a priest who meets the requirements above and the religion may be suffering because of this.

Oh, also Dabi, I dont think mezcao will make it more then a few weeks. I have been preparing for his death for about two months. but the RP keeps coming to haunt me... Anyway, I have a new charactor who seems to be doing well... Just thought that if you want to make this list then Make Dabi red. its as good as that right now anyway.

Mira has an active HF and a F2 .. I may not be on as much as I use to but I still create extra symbols and check in with the faith.

Cool cool. Keep 'em comin'. I can guess on a few, but I would rather keep the guessing to a minimum.

I originally misread this thread - I thought it was about HF, which already has it's own thread. For that, I've updated the official thread. Still, I don't think it's a good idea to have a thread that asks for compiled player knowledge. This is taking IC knowledge and posting it on a OOC forum. That's a no-no.

In general what you need to know is already on the HF thread. It is the HF's job to recruit clergy who can create symbols. Unless you are a member of the religion, it's not really any of your business whether they have the proper clergy or not.

Problem is most clergy tend to already have thiere religion picked at the moment of creation. At least I think so. When I made mine I picked Dabi before I created becuase it was a completly dead church. Something like this MIGHT, I repeat might be able to persuade someone to make a priest in a church that actually needs it...

That was more of the theme to the thread. If you know anything about me then you know that I am all about the rules, and true enough I did try to think this through the best possible way to make it useful to everyone, but no so useful to tempt people to use such information ICly. I guess I failed in that.

What this thread was originally going to be is a call out to anyone who is thinking about making a priest and me trying to persuede them, if they would have the proper RP and would have fun with it, to go into the fear religion.

Instead of being selfish like that, and either having a thread pop up for each god or muck up my thread with other people's attempts at persuasion, I decided to include the rest of the faiths and their situations. Would this work if we only destinguished the faiths that are in desparate need of priests such as Dabi, Nashira(?), and Algorab?

If so I am fully willing to change it, but I take the fact that you did not lock it to assume that you know that I did not mean to break any rules and that you could see some possible use for the thread. Or maybe you were just trying to be nice about enforcing the rules.

What ever coments or suggestions you might have on changing the thread to make it more useful and less of a violation would be greatly appreciated. I just want to reiterate the fact that most players seem to have their religion picked out before creation, you can tell that by many of their descriptions that match with the overall theme of the priest.

Priest is my preferred class. I just keep shuffling the faith around. *shrug*

Usually I check this sort of thing when I roll a priest (because since I'm going to play a priest -anyway- I might as well be helpful to the PBase), but go figure. This time, the religion I chose was already green-flagged. I just wanted to do a darkie harlequin priest of lies. . . .

Aludra is green, although this lad is out of town until next Wednesday with his sweetest RL. There is a backup plan in play and bases should be covered while I'm out of town. Any issues, please PM Algorab.

I could toss out my 2 second recruitment statement here, but I think I'll dodge the tomatos and say simply this. I would welcome most the newer players to the game who are more unbiased and seek a nuturing environment which I am building to aid in the development of a new face to this religion.
