Meh. Maybe for some sets, but not all. The paladin/hellion sets, for example, (Dulrik, Alshain, Ain, Sargas) are most sensibly placed on one character, like the HF.

Well, seeing as I'm the only F3 in the faith and I have 0 pieces, I suppose agreeing with you doesn't make a lick of difference.

I actually agree that it should mostly be on HFs unless said HF feels like being nice. Lighties might be somewhat different, as they don't have the "I can kill you and strip you of your godly favor" thing going on, but they should also recagnize the heros of their faith.

I just don't think it makes very much sense to have joe blow F1 over here with a full suit of (At least RP wise) kick ace armor, while the HF may be going in something that may or may not be as good, and something that doesn't carry the faith symbol.

IMO, sacred suits were made to say "Hey, look at me, I'm an effing awsome hero of XXX!" I could be wrong..

Back more on topic, I don't know how hard it is for the other suits, so I won't comment on them. But while my suit is very much reachable, there is no way any one person outside of a specific cabal is going to just waltz in and pick it up. So.. please no wimping in that reguard.

As Seromet I routinely killed fellow HF's for the Sacred pieces I considered mine. I claimed them, if they didn't give them up willingly I killed for them.

The Sadr sacred suit I consider to be craptastic. The materials are all copper, flesh, ice, and flame. Most Sacred stuff is high-grade energy. Also all the enchantments on it are stats, and all are redundent.

The chokers and the copper rings are decent, I used them for the HP and CHA.

They need something combat viable.

Just another in a long list of ways Aerlyn was and shall remain different than Seromet.

some of the suits have quirky bugs I've noticed.

I would say something like I like the sacred gear and I think its great and I'm glad that players all got to design the suits and the only reason we have full suits is because PLAYERS made it that way, since the guidelines were that we could make 10 items. Any items btw, didn't even have to make a single piece of armor if we didn't wish to.

But you'd all probably just think I was biased since I keep a whole suit to myself so I won't say all that.

Dabi sacred armor sucks to high hell, and the Imms won't even let us change the crappy enchantments the junky armor has. Who the hell wants moderate reflex and fort on each piece? That's just messed up and makes the armor a piece of crap.

The imm's have giving us a chance to change it. we just need to RP the change out. You know this very well. Maybe instead of useless QQ you should try to do the RP.

If the armor is spread out, or you have to fight a tough NPC to get it, I'll settle for that.

I'm really not a fan of sacred armor. I don't like that enemies can't accomplish much by taking it from someone. Nor do I like the in-religion drama of who gets to wear what.

I think a relic or three per religion is worthwhile. That's especially true if they require great knowledge of the religion and its temples to get. Complete suits of armor, however, don't even make sense for nonmartial sects. My idea of a good relic concept would be Zavijah's pencil from the Pilgrimage.

If that means we're short on armor, by all means get some more. Just not with the Sacred flag.

All of this will be taken into consideration. Then we'll look into it. There's obviously more to come here. The sets should either be spread out or gotten after fighting a really tough NPC.
