NPC that holds: Prehaps a Hight Knight of Dulrik in the outer planes

I would not want it to be a Religious weapon just a weapon prehaps only heros can hold, or prehaps a solo quest and only one of the swords is preasent in the lands.. That would open a up a whole new area for quests like a quest of trials and tribulations... Prehaps the starting point will take a group to get to and then the one what wishes the sword will have to do the quest solo.. I dont know I put a lot of thought into it to make it make sence. I thought of this with my current charector I want it to be a goal of his some day to get a sword like that but you never know. so any feed back or thoughts will be great!

The Walking Cane of Zeal

Size medium made of stone

subtype - riding crop

This walking cane is made of pure male cow feces that has petrified into its current state. It has the symbol of many of the light gods carved into it.


Lore - One day Alshain was walking by a pasture in Taslamar and sneezed. Some of his holy mucus landed on a cow patty, recently stepped in by Dulrik which accounts for its odd shape, and the patty was instantly petrified into a holy relic. An old shepard happened upon it shortly thereafter and thought, "My, such a good walking stick cast aside." He loved it so much that Aludra herself, unknowing its origins, blessed the staff with the eternal kiss of love. The Hammer of Light, having heard of a powerful artifact of the light gods tried to request the shepard to part with the cane, but he told them they were not worthy to receive it. Thus insued a week long conversation between the shepard and the knights of the hammer in which they all pointed out each other's flaws and why neither was worthy of the cane. Zavijah, was so impressed with the filibuster and the wisdom contained, added his blessings to the staff and then went about his business. The god was not gone ten minutes before the knights of the hammer judged the shepard to be impure since he would not aid them (anyone who doesn't stand with the hammer is obviously impure) and one of the knights ran him through with the flaming lance of taslamar. An elven priest of Meissa poured holy water on the corpse of the shepard and said a prayer of purification. Meissa, unawares of the recent events heard the prayer and thought the priest meant the cane, since it was obvious the soul of the shepard was already pure and thus she added her blessings to the cane as well. Thus the cane received the blessings of all the gods of the light save Ain who was so disgusted with the chaos of its origins that he wouldn't come near it.


Script -- activation word "poke"-- when ever the wielder of the Walking Cane of Zeal "pokes" another player the cane will instantly begin to say aloud why the wielder is better than that person because the wielder is so much more holy and loved by the gods and the cane will then go on to insult the the poked person based on their gender, birthplace, race, aura, profession, and it will tell them (should they worship a god) why exactly it is that they are a failure at serving their god. In addition, if you poke a female player they will instantly be forced to rp having become pregnant just so the cane can insult their sexual promiscuity and talk for days about how women in it's day didn't behave that way and how they are an affront to the gods.

Hammer of light can charge with this weapon. Does double damage to the reputation of a person.

Eh, Dulriks sacred sword is already a katana I think. Why not join Dulrik religion and get that?

I dont like the fact that Religion weapons are strong and such, I think they are over rated, so I would like to see a sword that someone can request for at gm only or something..

And, darkies need a request system for aberrant characters called "demand" where they use their strength and guile to obtain something from a person of non-light aura.

There already is a demand skill. It's called kill, and you can abbreviate it for your convenience. And yes, there are already gm only, lightie only requested weapons, and gear. Some of them you can't even request if your cha isn't hight enough at gm.
