I've liked this feature for years on other muds that I have played. Would make it a lot easier to get mass quantities of things without obsessive spam.

Another thing I would like is a nospam command to allow only enemy creatures' actions to show. So you would only see what the enemy is hitting. Would make a healer more lag free, since all we do is type info every round anyway.

So the 'get' command is the only important one to change? Or do we need it for things like 'drop' as well? If so, what commands? Also, someone mentioned they have played a game that has this already. Can you tell me what game and/or code base they use?

I dont think I understand what you're trying to say here. What I would want is:

Code:
[type]    SELF  VICTIM OTHER   
miss      off        off          off     
deflect   off        off          off     
block     off        off          off 
hit        on         on           on


so that hits are not shown anymore.

What I would like to see is all like objects grouped together like that whenever possible. So that would include get, drop, inventory, is here... hell even for necromancer's undead so instead of there being 40 lines of wights everyone sees (40) wights. I know nothing about coding so I don't know if this is realistic or not (or what problems it could create). I just know it'd be easier on my eyes.

Basically, make it so that when you drop/get items it would show the same as when you look at the items. Instead of 40 lines of bowls it would show ( 40) a bowl of blabla.
