Charisma isn't a mental stat.

Charisma

The word charisma (from the Greek word χάρισμα (kharisma), "gift" or "divine favor," from kharizesthai, "to favor," from kharis, "favor") refers to a rare trait found in certain human personalities usually including extreme charm and a "magnetic" quality of personality and/or appearance along with innate and powerfully sophisticated personal communicability and persuasiveness; in short, charisma is often used to describe a seemingly uncanny ability to charm or influence people. It refers especially to a quality in certain people who easily draw the attention and admiration (or even hatred if the charisma is negative) of others due to a "magnetic" quality of personality and/or appearance. Though the term as it stands is extremely difficult to define, other similar terms/phrases related to charisma include: grace, exuberance, equanimity, mystique, positive energy, joie de vivre, extreme charm, personal magnetism, personal appeal, "electricity," and allure, among many others Another term constantly used is the "X-factor." Usually many of these qualities must be present within a single individual for the person to be considered highly charismatic by the public and their peers.
Despite the strong emotions they so often induce in others, charismatic individuals generally project unusual calmness, confidence, assertiveness, dominance, authenticity, and focus, and almost always possess superb communication and/or oratorical skills. To the early Greeks, charisma was said to be "a divine favor/gift" or "gift of grace," implying that this "divine quality" was an inborn trait; today however, many believe it can be taught and/or learned, despite the persistent inability to accurately define or even fully understand the concept.

Humans get their age ticks at 46, 68 and 82. You get the penalties/bonuses, the year after.

It's why half-elves don't age till 76, and elves don't age till 138.

Each one removes one of each of the physicals. The last two add all mentals, but you need to use mods.

No dex penalty for the second tick.

So, basically, Fepel just got served - she served me back, so I guess that now ... it's on!

EDIT: I decided against correcting the freudian slip, consider that my counter-serve! :P

I would argue how getting older actualy makes a female bard more charismatic. Sure, she might be more influential, but that is not all charisma stands for.

Perhaps if the game could seperate charisma to appearance/leadership, my arguement would have more of a point, but oh well.

I think the game does a good job of that:
Quote:
Charisma is the measure of the character's social skill, leadership,
ability to perform for a crowd, and make new friends. Charisma is a
major factor in bard songs and also modifies many skills and spells of
other classes. Having a high Charisma makes you better at interacting
with new situations and provides a bonus to the experience points you
can earn. People with poor social skills earn XP at a slower rate.

As you can see, the DYNAMIC charisma of the old bugger who can only have INFLUENTIAL at 20 which is his base racial MAX.

A Freudian slip is saying one thing... and meaning your mother.

I am a he, Fepel was a (s)him.

Yes Charima is a mental stat.

Charisma has two components, leadership skills and comeliness. An old saggy bardess may not be as firm or tight, but she may indeed be able to sway individuals with her golden voice and solid gilded charm.

If you don't lose DEX @ 2nd age tick, then so be it.

Next?
