Maybe that would put an end to people naming their pets after their adjectives. Or not.

No beneficial name-revealing system will ever part me from my trusted pet wolf, Disorganizedtina.

I want a tattoo shop. That is all. One that you can get a tattoo from, OR that sells the supplies needed for the RP. Hrmph.

Ghent and Zavier helped a lady that was supposed to set one up in Teron.

Hmmm wonder what happened with that RP. :-?

SK Character: That'd be telling
I would like to be able to buy some limited armour for my steed, shoe it also. Things like this personalise the pet. This, with limited pet levelling requested earlier, would encourage the retention of your pet.

On that note, perhaps branding could be possible too... So someone who sees your pet *might* recognise your brand (is that the right term?) and see 'Wortsenawls Uxmaln pack mule is here'.

I agree with much of what Salak brought up early in this thread. I'll list some I specifically like:
  • Ships. I love the ocean, and was disappointed that all I could do in SK was fly over it.
  • Real estate. Sometimes it's no fun building up a virtual reputation if all you virtually own in the end is what's carried on your virtual back. This would help give virtual furniture more of a purpose.
  • Pets with leveling ability would be marvelous, so long as they're able to be revived. Otherwise it would be a cute but pointless gesture.
  • The 'fluff' slots mentioned could be interesting. Primarily, I would like to see jewelry not adversely affect skills (ex: glasses being a 'burden'). That is, if this is still the case.
...and then add a few of my own suggestions.
  • I played a sorceror for over 1000 hours when I was active. Polymorph was one of my favorite spells, and I had a description for just about everything I used it for. Unfortunately, I've had to copy and paste them into my description soon before or after I cast the spell. Allowing classes with the skills 'disguise' and 'polymorph' an in-game tertiary description sheet (say, maybe one-to-five alotted, depending on poly/disguise skill level) could be useful. Just attach one to whatever command you're going for, and away you go.
  • Well, as I said, I liked sorcs. Specifically, I liked polymorph. However, I didn't like to lose whatever pathetic gear I had. When mentioned in fiction, some magical shapeshifters are known for transmuting whatever they're wearing into their new form. That way, I could turn my wizard into a shaggy dog without worrying about some rogue lifting my tattered cloak from my inventory.
  • Resize/reshape exhaustion. Magic or not, I expect that it might be taxing to one's physical stamina and equilibrium to be given a new shape, size, or combination of either. Specifically, apply a PE/chance to hit penalty for a period of time whose length is determined by the extent of change. Medium to small, light penalty. Small to Giant, heavy penalty. Humanoid-to-humanoid, small penalty. Humanoid-to-avian, heavy penalty.
  • Form Experience: Hidden, dual-purpose. On one hand, helps in decreasing resize/reshape exhaustion penalty (if applied...looks messy now that I glance back up at it). But implemented more for the purpose of giving polymorphs new toys to play with. If a wizard spends awhile as an animal of some sort, she's bound to learn some of their tricks. From impulse, if not from observation of subject species behavior. Over time, mental constitution will increase to where the polymorph is capable of performing acts of survival that the subject species is able to do naturally.

Specifically, depending on species, foraging and hunting. It's not going to help you kill a three-hundred foot stone demi-god pounding his way across the continent, but it'd still be a fun diversion.
  • Telekinesis: Alright, the sorceror is able to throw his voice and open up traveling portals, so how about something in between? There's a rock on the ground. Target the rock with the telekinesis spell and "tell" it to do something, as an emote. Only problem is, what objects to immunize from this behavior?

I'm probably coming off sounding hazy, but I've had a long trip up from the southwest. Hope someone can make sense of this.

Merry Yiggmas, noobs! :D

And ruin my business?! But, I do want a shop that sells needles at least instead of resorting to using sewing needles to do work.

Just a thought from my noobness mind.. what about a spell for sorcs (or another class) that allows them to see the other side of a portal/gate, anything you have to actually "enter"...gate, portal, tent, warehouse, etc.

Actually, instead of spell it would be nice functionality if one could look into any gate, rift, door, or any other thing you would have to enter and see the other side. At the same time it would be nice if you could target something that you could see on the other side. After all if I want to enter the city gates I should be able to see what is there and cast/shoot at what I can see there.

This would be very nice but isn't extremely high on the need/want list. I'm GUESSING this would be difficult to code but if not...
