Many shovels/trowels/picks are not flagged properly for digging. I will typo them as I go but could any KDs out there do a locate for various impliments in your area and check them.

Also, at times items regen as buried while underwater. Sea caves, Mrraoli cavern, lake Everclear to name a few. Could these items either be flagged so they are not buried, or could D modify the bury code to allow for things to be dug up while underwater just not buried underwater.

Thank you,

-M

I had already fixed anything that had the name shovel or trowel. Picks are usually weapons, so won't be counted as a digging tool. If you had them before today, it's possible you will need to junk it and get a new one.

Hot.

Anything about digging underwater or does that fall under "it's a builder thing."

Builder error. All of those things were probably left over from before you couldn't bury things in the water. They just need to be typo logged.

There are also quest items buried in water.

Being unable to bury things in water is NOT a new feature. These kind of things should have been typo logged ages ago.

I'm talking about digging, not burying. This is a quest item that repops underground at a "Near The Shore" section near a certain port city. It cannot be retrieved now, whereas it used to be able to be dug up with the dig command.

I'm not sure how much more info I should be posting here.

I guess I'll fix it so you can still dig up buried items but not dig up anything else. I still find it awkward though.

Think of something settled to the ocean floor and after time was buried just by the way that the dirt moves and settles. So you dig up stuffs, but to actively bury things is near impossible.

That was always my take on it.
