I'm taking the thing Sinnoch mentioned in the GD Pbase thread:

What if there was a 'regen' you could stat train to increase regeneration of HP/ME/PE? Each point giving a 125% speed bonus or something of the sort.

Your thoughts?

Should be automatic, not a trainable skill. Why? Because the people who train it will level faster but end up with a totally subpar character at GM.

That doesn't sound like a super-horribly bad tradeoff.

EDIT: Isn't that what charisma is? A tradeoff for levelling speed vs. effectiveness?

This already exists. Constitution affects the regeneration speed of hit points and movement. Wisdom affects the regeneration speed of mental energy.

Yes, and they're grossly inadequate for the needs of your playerbase.

You may wish to listen to the assembled voices, for in this shrinking crowd even the most timid can be loud.

Charisma definately needs more uses

As for regen, yes it is vastly innadequate. I'd suggest items like store bought potions or bandages that increase your regen rate when resting or sleeping.

I read this thread before the other one that originally brought up regen speed, so I didn't understand what was actually being asked.

And that's why you should always read GD first. Well, one of two major reasons, the other being that the majority of my posts are there.
